Kingsguard is a Enemy in Wizard with a Gun.
Background[]
The king's tribe holds the Kolbara tree, and though they haven't taken up gunmancy like the tribe of Kolanna, the kingsguard are a formidable foe for any gunslinger.
Characteristics[]
The Kingsguard is a hostile enemy that can be found throughout The Frozen Wastes, and are almost always spawned with an allied Royal Vulf nearby. They don't become aggressive on sight, rather, they become aggressive to players that get too close to them.
Kingsguard are naturally aggressive to Barbarian Scout, Barbarian Grenadier and Zyra.
Attacks[]
- Slash
Players that stand very close to the Kingsguard will provoke them to slash the player with their greataxe, dealing 231 Cold Damage and inflicting some knockback. Players can be damaged by this knockback if they hit any solid object, enemy or other player.
- Lunge and Slash
Players that stand further away will instead provoke the Kingsguard to lunge forward first, slashing the player for 231 Cold Damage and also dealing some knockback.
- Throw Spike Ball
The Kingsguard will occasionally throw a spiky ball of cobalt at the player that deals 231 Cold Damage on impact and also inflicts knockback.
- Slam
The Kingsguard will slam down their greataxe, dealing 231 Cold Damage to anything standing in a large radius around itself. This attack inflicts some knockback to whatever it hits, and also throws out numerous small boulders that deal 231 Cold Damage on hit.
First Edition unlocks[]
- Health Regeneration III
- Increase Bullet Force
Strategy[]
- Kingsguard are comparatively easier to fight than enemies like the Barbarian Scout, as they spawn with less additional allies nearby. They also tend to get picked off by their enemies for the same reason.
- Kingsguard damage can be reduced by putting on the Reduce Cold Damage Enchantment.
Note[]
- The Kingsguard have encrypted dialog just like the Barbarian Scout, Barbarian Grenadier and Zyra, however, they cannot be interacted with as getting close to the Kingsguard to do so will immediately make them hostile.
